The use of AI is monitored and if applicants have used it, then they are required to declare this in their supporting statement.Job overviewUniversity College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) is seeking an experienced and motivated Band 7 NIPE Lead Midwife to lead the delivery of the Newborn and Infant Physical Examination (NIPE) screening programme at the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Maternity Unit.This is a key leadership role with responsibility for coordinating and delivering a high-quality, compliant NIPE service in line with national screening standards. You will provide expert clinical leadership, ensure robust failsafe systems are in place, oversee performance against national KPIs, and support the education and development of midwives and medical staff undertaking NIPE examinations.Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate will be a registered midwife and qualified NIPE practitioner, with strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to family-centred, evidence-based care.
