Finance Assistant/Purchase Ledger
An established and growing business in Harrogate is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their friendly and supportive finance team.
Youll be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring that transactions are processed efficiently
Key Responsibilities
* Process purchase invoices accurately and promptly
* Create and process payment runs
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
* Calculate and organise refunds
* Maintain transactional ledgers, resolving outstanding issues
* Complete bank reconciliations
* Run aged debtors and aged creditors reports
* Support the finance managers and management accountants in resolving queries
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Skills & Experience
* Purchase ledger experience is essential
* Excellent attention to detail and high data accuracy
* Strong communication skills, able to liaise effectively with finance and non-finance colleagues
* Good Excel skills and overall IT literacy
