Were looking for a Senior Buyer: Own Brand to take full ownership of a high-profile portfolio leading everything from product concept and development through to launch, performance, and optimisation. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where youll shape products that customers love while driving real commercial results.
What You'll Do
As Senior Buyer: Own Brand, youll be at the heart of our product strategy, working cross-functionally to bring ideas to life and deliver standout performance.
* Own and deliver the long-term vision for our own-brand portfolio
* Identify opportunities for growth through market insight and trends
* Manage the full product lifecycle from concept to phase-out
* Drive new product development (NPD) from idea to launch, including formulation, packaging, and costing
* Source, onboard, and manage third-party manufacturers and suppliers
* Lead supplier negotiations to improve cost, margin, and service
* Build strong, collaborative supplier partnerships with clear performance management
* Own sales, margin, and profitability targets across the portfolio
* Develop robust business cases for new products and portfolio changes
* Monitor performance KPIs and take corrective action where needed
* Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Finance and Operations to deliver results
The Skills You'll Need
* Experience in product, brand, or category management
* Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sales and margin growth
* Experience leading product development and working with external suppliers
* Confident stakeholder management across multiple functions
* Strong xsngvjr analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insight and action
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving capability
