Join to apply for the EPR Digital Pharmacist role at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust. This is an opportunity to shape the implementation of the EPR system (oracle millennium) within the Joint Oracle EPR (JEPR) network across University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire (UHCW), George Eliott NHS Trust (GEH) and SWFT. We are seeking a hands-on pharmacist to join the digital pharmacy team and drive transformative change in pharmacy practice through informatics. You will guide the development and implementation of the EPR system, bridging pharmacy and healthcare technology, optimise electronic prescribing and medication administration within clinical workflows, and contribute to patient safety and outcomes in a multidisciplinary setting. The Specialist Pharmacist Digital Medicines will work with the Joint Lead Pharmacy Information Officer in a multidisciplinary team implementing JEPR and supporting its rollout and ongoing maintenance across the JEPR network.
This role may involve integration and development of existing Trust pharmacy digital systems (such as Prescription tracking and WellSky) in collaboration with the digital pharmacy team and wider pharmacy services.
Responsibilities
* Review, configure and test JEPR systems across GEH and SWFT.
* Support system rollout, ongoing maintenance and development across the JEPR network.
* Apply specialist pharmacy knowledge to ensure system development meets pharmacy department needs, including clinical governance, accountability and patient safety related to medication administration and medicines management.
* Support integration and maintenance of existing pharmacy digital systems within the Trusts.
Qualifications
* Qualified Pharmacist (or equivalent).
* Experience in clinical informatics, medicines safety and electronic prescribing/medication administration systems preferred.
* Strong collaborative skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
