About the role
* This is a full-time role (35 hours per week) however flexibility in this will be considered
* We know that having a work‑life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
* The base location for this role is Manchester or Leeds Supply Site
What you’ll do
* Provide first‑line people advice to supply chain line managers
* Ensure effective and consistent implementation of People Policies
* Support the Supplies People Manager at the Manchester & Leeds sites in employee engagement and encourage fair and impartial employee relations on a variety of different people issues
* Highlight any areas of non‑compliance and provide assistance to rectify these within appropriate
* Ensure data is processed accurately and people systems and records are kept up to date.
* Deliver effective, timely and confidential support on all employee well‑being issues
About you
* Previous experience in a HR Advisory and People administration role is essential
* High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
* A strong team player
* Ability to deal with confidential information and maintain GDPR best practiceAbility to multi‑task and work at pace
* Ability to work autonomously and with a remote team
* Strong skills in planning, prioritising and organising
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Fully conversant with Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Flexibility in working hours as there will be occasions where early mornings or evenings are required
