Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Create a classroom environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and confidence.
* Track and support pupil progress, adapting teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support whole-school initiatives.
* Uphold school policies and contribute positively to the school community.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (including ECTs and overseas qualifications).
* A genuine passion for English literature and language.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* A proactive, enthusiastic, and reflective teaching style.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
* Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
