Beautiful & historic Lympne Castle has immediate full time, permanent employment openings for Back of Castle Kitchen staff in the fun servant role of Kitchen Porter.

Responsibilities:
* Assisting chefs with food preparation
* Washing and cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, pots & pans
* Maintaining cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas
* Unloading, storing and organizing deliveries of food and supplies
This is a 7-day /week hospitality operation. As such, weekend and evening work will be required.
Qualifications:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
* Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment is preferred
* Ability to stand for long periods of time
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Interest in history and the arts is a plus
A reliable method of transport is recommended due to the remote location and shift work.
