We're on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Chef Manager to join our dynamic team in Stevenage. As Chef Manager, you'll be at the heart of our operation, leading a catering team including 3 direct reports. You'll take the reins on everything from planning delicious, high-quality meals to managing stock and ensuring top-tier hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, inspire, and support your team to deliver exceptional food and service
* Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, stock control, and compliance
* Take pride in preparing fresh, innovative meals that wow clients and customers
* Maintain a spotless kitchen and front-of-house environment
* Handle weekly reporting and ordering with accuracy and efficiency
* Champion health, safety, and food hygiene standards
What we are looking for
* A proven background as a Chef Manager or similar role
* Strong culinary skills and a real passion for food
* A natural leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
* Computer literate and confident with stock systems and reporting
* Self-motivated, adaptable, and ready to lead by example
* A keen eye for quality, safety, and service
