Key duties
* Providing personal care – bathing, toileting, dressing, and feeding assistance
* Medication administration
* Assisting with residents’ daily activities, hobbies, or outings
* Following care plans and company policies and procedures
* Developing an open, honest, and considerate working relationship with residents
* Maintaining written daily records
* Attending and completing training as required

Being patient, reliable, flexible, a team player, and a good communicator are key characteristics of a successful Social Care Worker.

Where will you work?
Stroud Lodge is a large, Victorian detached property two miles from Gloucester city centre. It supports nine men and women of varying ages with learning difficulties, autism and associated complex needs, including behaviour that challenges. The home has a modern, fully‑equipped kitchen where all food is prepared by staff and residents can choose alternative meals if they wish. Residents enjoy local leisure activities, community outings, college courses, horse riding, or theatre trips and international holidays to Rome and New York City.
