We’re looking for a hands-on and organised Training Officer to join our HR team at our Grantham processing plant. Your Role: Reporting to the HR Manager, you’ll coordinate and deliver all on-site training and development activities across the facility. From inducting new staff and providing hands-on training to assessing competencies and updating work instructions, you’ll play a key role in maintaining workforce capability, compliance, and operational excellence across all production areas. What You’ll Be Doing: Coordinate and deliver on-site training and development programs. Induct new staff and provide hands-on role-specific training. Prepare, issue, and regularly update work instructions and training materials. Assess staff performance and provide retraining as needed to maintain standards. Take the lead in signing off staff competencies and conducting skill assessments for overseas recruits. Keep training records accurate and help HR stay on top of compliance with ease and precision. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience in a training role or strong operational knowledge of meat processing. High digital literacy and strong computer skills for record-keeping and compliance reporting. Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a passion for developing people. Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude. Ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced production environment. Why Join Us?
