A highly regarded creative fabrication studio based in London is seeking a full-time Production Manager to join their small, dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and organised individual to work on high-profile projects across art, luxury retail, and film/TV, ensuring seamless delivery from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate multiple projects from brief to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
* Oversee internal workflow using project management tools and liaise with design, production, and workshop teams.
* Manage production milestones on the workshop floor, ensuring smooth communication and execution.
* Organise and chair meetings with clients, suppliers, and internal teams; prepare agendas and concise meeting notes.
* Take ownership of quoting, budgeting, and reporting across active project pipeline.
* Act as the first point of contact for clients via phone and email, ensuring brand values are consistently represented.
* Maintain and improve administrative and compliance procedures across workshop and project activities.
* Interpret construction and technical drawings and communicate effectively with workshop teams.
* Champion internal culture and working practices to promote a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Candidate Profile
* This role would suit a detail-oriented, hands-on individual with a strong background in production management or coordination within a creative, fabrication-led environment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a close-knit, high-quality studio environment and bring initiative, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills to the role.
Essential Skills & Experience
* 3–5 years of experience in production management or coordination, ideally within custom fabrication for art, luxury retail, or media.
* Proven track record managing end-to-end project delivery including quoting, client liaison, production scheduling, and shipping logistics.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting technical and construction drawings.
* Experience with RAMS (Risk Assessment & Method Statements).
* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
* Full UK driving license.
Desirable Skills
* Certification for workshop or on-site equipment (e.g. scissor lifts).
* Proficiency in a European language, especially French or Italian.
* Hands-on understanding of fabrication techniques such as carpentry, sculpting, or mold-making.
* A personal or professional appreciation of classical and contemporary art.
