Learning Support Assistant – Wellington, SomersetFull-Time & Part-Time Opportunities | Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel are working closely with schools in the Wellington, Somerset area to recruit committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join their teams.
This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils both academically and emotionally, helping them to thrive in a supportive school environment.
The role:
* Supporting students in the classroom across a range of subjects
* Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis
* Assisting pupils with additional learning needs, including SEN
* Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
* Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
The ideal candidate will:
* Have experience working with children or young people (education experience desirable but not essential)
* Be patient, adaptable, and proactive
* Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Be committed to supporting pupils’ development and wellbeing
