What you willdo
You will manage all aspects of the inboundenquiries and where needed outbound activity responsible forsending quotes out within agreed SLAs and timely followup aiming tomeet and exceed the desired sales targets forgrowth.
Responsible for maintaining and developingrelationships with existing customers and prospects reporting tothe MD and have close working relationships with the workshopmanagement and team marketing and other management teammembers.
Objectives:
* Meetand exceed agreed sales targets.
* Increase theconversion ratios from quotes to work won byvalue.
* Ensure consistent accurate and timelyfollowup on all enquiries.
* Maintain overallcontrol and oversight of the entire pipeline ensuring that thepipeline of convertible opportunities is in line withtargets.
* Build and maintain knowledge of whyopportunities are lost such that we can improve our sales processesfrom an understanding of real data.
* Nurtureexisting client relationships through good communication(predominantly over the phone).
* Look foropportunities within existing and new clients to push salessolutions through proactive businessdevelopment.
Key Duties andResponsibilities:
* Acceptingand acknowledging all inboundenquiries.
* Responding to clients promptlyquoting jobs accurately and swiftly aspossible.
* Guiding existing customers andprospects on product solutions for the clients required applicationand escalating the matter internally to gain assistance with morecomplex cases.
* Logging all contacts andenquiries with 100% accuracy into the CRM to enable quotingfollowups and ordertaking.
* Managing the CRMsuch that the pipeline and all opportunities/enquiries are fully upto date at all times.
* Quoting manufacturing anddistribution jobs promptly.
* Providing monthlysales and pipeline KPIs to the senior management teammeeting.
* Providing weekly KPIs and pipelinereports to the Managing Director.
* Weeklymeeting with line management to talk about the prior weeks KPIs andplans/goals for the week ahead.
* Occasionaltravel to attend and/or help exhibit at trade shows to promote thecompany.
* Liaising with finance and operationsdaily to check when payments have been settled and schedule workwithin the workshop.
Whatyou will need
Experience/Qualifications:
* Sales administrationexperience Computer skills in MS excel word and PP andCommunication skills (written oral andfacetoface).
