Job Title: Trainee Mortgage Adviser
With 2025 well underway, we have recently promoted several of our current Trainee Mortgage Advisers to full-time home-based Mortgage Advisers. We are now seeking our next intake of candidates for an outstanding opportunity to become a fully CeMAP qualified Mortgage and Protection Adviser, offering a long-term career in Financial Services.
We have opportunities to join the UK’s leading new homes mortgage provider as a Trainee Mortgage Adviser.
Location:
Based full-time at our Wakefield offices (WF2 0XG). After training and obtaining CeMAP qualifications, you will be promoted to a full-time home-based Mortgage and Protection Adviser.
Daily Commute:
You must have your own vehicle or live locally enough for a short public transport commute.
Target:
Strong desire to work in Financial Services, with proven customer service or sales experience.
Year One Rewards:
Guaranteed salary of £30,000 (basic £25,500 + £4,500 commission) during the first year, with potential bonuses and overtime opportunities.
After 12 Months:
Salary increases to £27,500 plus commission and bonus, with an OTE of £40K - £45K.
CeMAP Support:
Full financial support for CeMAP qualifications, including study materials and exam costs.
Working Hours:
Rotating shifts including early and late starts, every other weekend.

Role Responsibilities:
* Office-based contact with customers referred by our house-builder clients.
* Record customer details, complete fact finds, research lenders’ criteria, and arrange appointments with Mortgage Advisers.
Requirements:
* Desire to work in Financial Services, especially mortgages and protection.
* Proven customer service and sales skills.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and listening skills.
* Organised and disciplined work approach.
* Proficient in IT, especially Microsoft Office.
