As an assembly fitter, you will work as part of a team to build both static and mobile recycling machinery.
Responsibilities:
* Follow engineering drawings to build heavy equipment, i.e. conveyors, screens
* Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
* Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary adjustments
* Work on own initiative
* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
* Use overhead gantries and forklifts to lift and move equipment safely
Qualifications:
* Two years of experience working in a similar environment
* Previous experience as an assembly fitter
* Experience using hand tools
* Ability to read and interpret drawings and work instructions
* Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
* Familiarity with warehouse operations and materials handling
