The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our industry-leading Parcel Courier client based in the Nuneaton area. We are looking for experienced Warehouse Supervisors to join their growing team and support operations within a busy, fast-paced distribution environment.
Days Worked: Monday to Friday
Shifts: 2PM - 00:00AM
Pay Rate: £15.25ph PAYE
Location: Nuneaton, CV10 area
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate
The role:
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a zone within the warehouse operation, ensuring performance, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. With support from the Process Manager, you will lead a team of Warehouse Operatives, driving productivity and high standards to achieve and exceed operational targets.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Supervising Warehouse Operatives and managing daily operations within your zone.
* Monitoring throughput, parcel presentation, and productivity against KPIs.
* Supporting the Process Manager with quality control and performance measurements.
* Managing client SLAs, load presentation, scanning compliance, and reducing mis-sorts/damages.
* Leading, coaching, and developing Operatives through 1:1s, reviews, and team meetings.
* Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, hygiene, and quality audits.
* Promoting consistency and high performance within the team.
* Standing in for the Process Manager when required
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
* Previous experience in distribution or warehouse management.
* A strong understanding of KPIs and operational performance drivers.
* Excellent leadership and motivational skills with the ability to coach and develop a team.
* The confidence to work under pressure and use your own initiative.
* Strong communication and influencing skills – with the ability to use data to drive results.
* PC literacy and good maths/English skills (written and verbal).
