What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Manage and lead the shift, striving to maximise productivity, quality, and efficiency across the Warehouse
* Drive performance through effective monitoring of coaching and performance
* Review all aspects of shift performance, identifying areas for improvement to ensure efficient and accurate process
* Leading the team on shift proactively to motivate high performance, develop positive engagement and good communication across the operation
* Management of the warehouse training requirement and function
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Proven experience in managing a large operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment at a similar level
* The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent
planning skills
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement
* Positive, people-oriented approach and readiness to tackle the challenges of the
night shift
