Overview
A role with purpose at Targeted Provision to support vulnerable young people with SEND and SEMH needs. You will join a child-centred company committed to reimagining the world of support, reinforcing flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring for pupils and students referred by local authorities and schools (KS1 – KS5 as appropriate for your skills).
Responsibilities
* Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
* CPD and employee mentoring: TES CPD suite and professional mentor access
* SEND Support Team: Support to keep a team around you and the child
* Community and Company Events: Knowledge sharing and resources
* Referral Programme: Get rewarded for successful tutor referrals
* Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
* Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
* Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
* Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online jobs
* Location and rate: Shanklin, Isle of Wight - £28 - £35 per hour Contract
