Senior Accountant - Growing Accountancy Practice

Location: Petersfield Salary: £50,000 - £65,000pa

TPF Recruitment is working on behalf of a dynamic and ambitious firm that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their expanding team. With exciting plans to double turnover in the next year through local acquisitions, this is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a business undergoing significant transformation and growth.
About the Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you'll take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, made up primarily of limited companies with turnovers of up to £7 million. You'll be responsible for reviewing accounts prepared by an international delivery team, ensuring high-quality output and seamless client service.
This is not a Partner-review environment-you will be trusted to lead on your portfolio and ensure delivery standards remain exceptional. Strong client communication skills and an ability to work autonomously are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review year-end accounts and tax computations prepared by offshore teams
* Manage and nurture client relationships, acting as their key point of contact
* Take full responsibility for your workload with minimal oversight
* Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across your portfolio
* Collaborate with leadership to refine internal processes and drive improvements
* Contribute to the firm's ongoing transformation and expansion plans
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
* ACA / ACCA qualified preferred, but qualified by experience will be considered
* Experience managing or working with offshore teams is a plus
* Proven background in a client-facing accountancy practice role
* Self-motivated with a desire to contribute to a growing business
* Excellent communication, time management, and review skills
