Housing First Officer needed in South East London Paying £24.43 per hr ref OR22901 Full time hours on a temporary basis Key Responsibilities Provide intensive, wrap‑around support to individuals experiencing multiple exclusion homelessness, including CHAIN‑verified rough sleepers and hostel residents. Build trusting, sustained relationships with clients using trauma‑informed and psychologically‑informed approaches. Support clients to secure and sustain tenancies, addressing risks around eviction, rent arrears, neighbour relations, and tenancy conditions. Complete high-quality assessments, risk management plans, and safeguarding referrals. Navigate a wide range of support pathways, including welfare benefits, substance misuse services, mental health provision, primary care, community resources, and specialist interventions. Maintain excellent case notes and ensure compliance with data and IT recording systems. Work effectively within a small, multidisciplinary team and contribute to service development. Attend multi-agency meetings, advocate for clients, and uphold professional boundaries.
