We're working closely with a large special school in the Devizes area that is looking for a SEND Learning Support Assistant to join the team on a full-time basis as soon as possible. Part-time applications cannot be accepted due to the needs of the students. The school currently has a few gaps, so you will be placed in the class that best matches your personality and experience.
The school has recently opened a new, top-of-the-range site with excellent facilities and new SLT members, making it an exciting time to join.
The role
The SEND Learning Support Assistant role involves providing general classroom support and 1-1 support where needed. The key characteristic they look for is being proactive.
Due to the complex needs of the students, experience working in a professional setting with special needs & disabilities is essential, whether in a school or support work setting. The school is open to various applications.
