Head of Franchising Operations

£80,000 - £100,000 | London, Hybrid | Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Franchising Operations to join a global organisation at the forefront of education and professional development. This strategic position will lead the operational excellence of a large-scale franchise network, ensuring consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement across all locations.

You’ll be responsible for driving best practice through the creation, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of standard operating procedures (SOPs), training frameworks, and quality assurance systems. The successful candidate will bring a commercial mindset, an eye for operational detail, and the ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on delivery.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop, maintain, and implement comprehensive SOPs and operational standards for franchise operations.
* Lead on compliance, audit, and risk management, ensuring adherence to regulations and company requirements.
* Provide ongoing training, guidance, and support to franchise partners to drive operational excellence and consistency.
* Conduct regular audits and performance evaluations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
* Analyse performance data to identify trends, efficiency opportunities, and best practices.
* Act as a strategic liaison between the corporate function and franchise network, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
* Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure all operational processes align with broader business goals.

About You

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in global franchise operations, quality control, or multi-site management.
* Strong track record in developing and embedding operational processes, training programmes, and compliance systems.
* Exceptional communication and influencing skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
* Analytical, commercially aware, and solutions-driven with excellent attention to detail.
* Educated to degree level in Business, Management, or a related discipline; a master’s degree is advantageous.
* Experience in the education or professional services sector is desirable but not essential.

The Package

* Salary: £80,000 – £100,000 (depending on experience)
* Location: Stratford, hybrid working (2–3 days in office)
* Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
