They are looking for a Sourcing Manager to join their Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Sourcing Team on an initial 6 month with the potential to extend. You will be working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, hybrid working being office based a minimum of 2 days a week. The role is based at the businesses offices at one of the above locations.
What you'll be doing...
In this role you will collaborate closely with Sourcing and Business Unit key and senior leadership, Supplier Management, and the Cost Management Team to build a position where you can influence stakeholders from across the entire business to shape the organisations approach to outsourcing and offshoring BPO services.
The Role
Lead sourcing strategy development and deployment within the BPO category ensuring that all associated commercial and risk activity is managed and there is a clear drive to create value and minimise the total cost of ownership.
Be responsible for the full sourcing life cycle from initial strategy, tendering, and contract award through to transition, contract management and termination.
Work collaboratively and effectively with supply chain management teams, sourcing support teams and senior stakeholders to drive optimal value and delivery throughout the end to end sourcing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities.
Support the development and execution of outsourcing sourcing strategies delivering the required supplier solutions within a cost sustainable and value driven model.
Create strong partnerships with key and sometime senior stakeholders to influence business priorities and understand future trends and requirements.
Develop and implement innovative approaches to optimise the end to end process, to assure the best combination of speed, efficiency and quality of solutions.
Identify best practices and be able to respond to changes in the internal and external business environment to secure best value from third party expenditure.
Lead the sourcing process, providing direction and oversight to leverage economies of scale through robust contract negotiations, supplier selection and effective commercial management.
Apply expertise in contractual terms and conditions ensuring appropriate risk mitigation is embedded into processes, solutions and supply contracts.
Work collaboratively with the Supplier Management team to develop and implement the appropriate supplier governance structure.
Own, report and track financial benefits versus pipeline and targets, identifying potential risks and further opportunities.Experience and Skills
End‑to‑end sourcing expertise - strategy development, tendering, contract negotiation, award, transition and termination in a financial setting.
BPO category experience - delivering sourcing solutions specifically within Business Process Outsourcing engagements.
Strong stakeholder and relationship management - building influential partnerships with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
Commercial & risk management - ability to manage commercial models, mitigate risk, and embed strong contractual protections.
Strategic thinking & innovation - improving sourcing processes, responding to market changes and adopting best practices.
Financial and analytical capability - tracking benefits, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting value creation.
Leadership & team development - motivating, coaching, and contributing to a high‑performing sourcing team.
Systems - good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, SAP Ariba would be an advantage.
