Job Title: Electrical Apprentice
Location: Brimsdown (Enfield) - UK

Using advanced metals chemistry, you’ll help tackle the world’s biggest challenges - cutting emissions, powering modern life and supporting life‑saving technologies - by applying, refining and recycling metals that matter for a healthier, more sustainable, circular future.
The role:
As an Electrical Apprentice, you will help drive our goals by:
1. Supporting the electrical maintenance team with planned and reactive maintenance activities
2. Assisting with fault finding on electrical systems, motors, control panels and plant equipment
3. Following safe systems of work, including electrical isolation and permit procedures
4. Developing skills in electrical testing, inspection and control systems through supervised practice
5. Completing apprenticeship coursework and maintaining an up-to-date development portfolio
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
6. A minimum of four GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A*–C, including Maths, English and Science
7. A genuine interest in electrical or practical engineering subjects
8. Strong safety awareness and a responsible approach to working in an industrial environment
9. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others
10. Attention to detail and a willingness to learn and develop new skills
