The Flight Simulation | Labs organization at Boeing has an exciting Test & Evaluation Engineering Management opportunity as a Technician Support Manager to lead the Flight Simulation Labs Technician team in Berkeley, MO.
This position supports all Technician responsibilities across multiple areas supported by Flight Simulation Labs, managing a team of multi-disciplinary technicians and technical support staff. The organization provides comprehensive simulation and laboratory solutions for the design, development, integration, and deployment of products for Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS).
The Technician Manager will oversee employees performing technician and technical support tasks, including daily readiness, repair, sustainment efforts, solution integration, fabrication, and scheduled upgrades. The leader will develop and execute project plans, manage resources, build stakeholder relationships, provide technical oversight, lead process improvements, and employee development.
Position Responsibilities:
* Manage employees performing technician and technical activities supporting all Flight Simulation Labs duties.
* Develop and execute project and process plans, policies, procedures, and technician goals.
* Acquire resources, manage suppliers, and lead process improvements.
* Maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports.
* Coordinate lab facility maintenance, repairs, upgrades, secure operations, and scheduling.
* Ensure calibration, accreditation, and compliance of labs are maintained.
* Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
* Manage, develop, and motivate employees.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite at Berkeley, MO.
Requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). A clearance active within the past 24 months is considered active.
Basic Qualifications:
* 3+ years’ related experience.
* 7+ years in a leadership role (team lead, project, or manager).
* Experience with electronics, mechanical systems, design, fabrication, or test troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Ability to obtain Special Program Access or other government access requirements.
* Experience in developing positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.
* Experience in Simulation or System Integration Labs design, testing, or integration activities.

Pay range: $117,300 - $158,700, based on experience and market factors.
