Forge Talent are working exclusively with a well know client who are based in Manchester City Centre and are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger clerk to the team on a temp basis for up to 6 Months. The Purchase Ledger role is a great opportunity to work with a supportive team in an established company and will be full time in the office intially with hybrid working to follow.Your new roleThe Purchase Ledger role will be in their head office working in Manchester City Centre. The role will be a varied one and will include:
* Maintenance of Purchase Ledger and processing/filing of invoices
* Reconciliation of supplier statements
* Scheduling and payment of supplier invoices & employee expenses
* Looking at historic balances
* Monitoring & reporting of copy invoices & debit notes
* Cleaning up ledgers of current direct debits
* General duties
What you'll need to succeed
* Worked in a similar role previously
* Form effective working relationships with colleagues.
* Be able to hit the ground running
* A supportive and flexible team worker.
* Strong organising, administration and communication skills.
* Experience of working in a busy purchase ledger department.
* Be immediatley available or on 1 week's notice
* Certificated competence of IT literacy, e.g. MS Word and Excel
