THE ROLE: As the Account Manager, you will sell directly to end users in Yorkshire and the north east. In this exciting role you will sell a portfolio of gas detection systems used in multiple industries such as utilities, food and beverage, chemicals and pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will handle a split of warm accounts and new business prospects and receive incoming leads via marketing campaigns and trade shows. As part of a large, collaborative team, you will work alongside experienced Project Managers, engineers and in-house marketers to service customers and develop business pipeline throughout the territory.

THE COMPANY: This long-established international manufacturer continue to succeed and grow across various industry sectors. They are experts in safety systems, instrumentation and consumables, providing products and services that are essential in the day to day operations of a diverse range of industrial end-users. As a global business, their revenue is in excess of €3billion across the group.

REQUIREMENTS:

·Direct sales experience into a manufacturing industry (e.g. food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, chemicals etc.)

·Ideally a degree in engineering, but this is not essential

·Sales experience in a technical instrumentation role

·Excellent customer handling skills, a team player, target motivated

·Full driving license and ability to travel (70 - 80% of the role)

The Account Manager package:

·Highly attractive basic salary and bonus starting at 80% of target with potential to take overall earnings above £100k

·Car: Fully expensed company car or allowance

Location: The Account Manager role will cover Yorkshire and the North East of England including: Leeds, Bradford, Hull, Huddersfield, York, Darlington, Durham, Middlesborough, Sunderland and Newcastle
