THE ROLE: As the Account Manager, you will sell directly to end users in Yorkshire and the north east. In this exciting role you will sell a portfolio of gas detection systems used in multiple industries such as utilities, food and beverage, chemicals and pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will handle a split of warm accounts and new business prospects and receive incoming leads via marketing campaigns and trade shows. As part of a large, collaborative team, you will work alongside experienced Project Managers, engineers and in-house marketers to service customers and develop business pipeline throughout the territory.

REQUIREMENTS:
·Direct sales experience into a manufacturing industry (e.g. food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, chemicals etc.)
·Ideally a degree in engineering, but this is not essential
·Sales experience in a technical instrumentation role
·Excellent customer handling skills, a team player, target motivated
·Full driving license and ability to travel (70 - 80% of the role)

The Account Manager package:
·Highly attractive basic salary and bonus starting at 80% of target with potential to take overall earnings above £100k

Location: The Account Manager role will cover Yorkshire and the North East of England including: Leeds, Bradford, Hull, Huddersfield, York, Darlington, Durham, Middlesborough, Sunderland and Newcastle
