Job Description: Driver Hire is seeking a reliable Class 1 Driver for our client in Lockerbie that can handle a variety of shifts best suited to yourself. This role involves a variety of driving assignments, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods across different locations. HOURLY PAY RATES - £15.13 - £20.17 (All inclusive of holiday pay) Key Responsibilities: Safely operate Class 1 HGV vehicles in compliance with all road and traffic regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Ensure timely delivery and collection of goods to designated locations. Secure loads and ensure goods are transported safely. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle mileage, and hours worked. Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times. Requirements: Valid Class 1 HGV (CE) license. No more than 3 penalty points Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. Strong understanding of road safety regulations. Excellent driving skills and attention to detail.
