We are seeking skilled and dedicated Heating Engineering teams, to join our fast paced moving company. The ideal candidate(s) will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in various tasks related to heating systems installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and repair heating systems in residential and commercial properties.
* Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
* Troubleshoot heating system issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
* Assemble components of heating systems using hand tools and power tools.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople, including plumbers and carpenters, to complete projects effectively.
* Perform heavy lifting as required during installations and repairs.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while on-site.
Skills
* Experience in installing ASHP (Air source heat pumps) THIS IS A MUST.
* Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to heating system installation and repair.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex heating systems.
* Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
* Experience with welding techniques is advantageous for certain installations.
* A valid commercial driving licence is preferred for transporting equipment and materials as needed.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of the job requirements.
