Your opportunity
We are looking for a Head of Business Studies committed to inspiring our students fostering a culture of curiosity critical thinking and academic achievement. The subject is a highly popular choice at both KS4 and KS5 with more than half of Year 9 students choosing Business Studies as one of their options. The subject consistently achieves excellent results at both GCSE and A-level.

* An excellent practitioner who will deliver joyful and challenging Business Studies lessons to students of all abilities at GCSE and A level.
* A natural leader who is confident compassionate and committed to making a remarkable impact on students and colleagues.
* A role model for outstanding teaching to both colleagues and students and someone who strives continually to improve the quality of teaching and learning.
* Someone with high standards of communication and interpersonal skills committed to working as part of a team (this role will manage the department and line‑manage the Economics Lead).
* Someone with the ability to motivate both students and their peers with a proven track record in achieving excellent student progress.
* A passion for student welfare.
