Key Account Manager (covering Liverpool and surrounding areas)

This role is offered on a hybrid basis, which involves a combination of working field-based, visiting customer sites/our offices, and also remotely.

Responsibilities

* Spending a part of your time on the road, you will be the key point of contact for our customers covering an area encompassing Liverpool and the surrounding areas.
* These companies are incredibly varied, coming from a range of different industries and backgrounds.
* You will be working closely with these customers, looking to identify their challenges with a view to providing them with top in class solutions, taking your portfolio to the next level.
* Identify and target revenue potential within your portfolio.
* Producing robust business plans that exceed sales and profit targets.
* Building a detailed understanding of the customers, markets, and competitors.
* Maintain and upkeep accurate customer records.
* Building coalitions across the business to support the delivery of sales targets including with the internal account managers.


Qualifications

* Experience in a field-based sales role with account management responsibilities and exposure to working to KPIs and targets.
* You are open-minded, possessing the ability and wiliness to embrace change.
* Someone who takes a solution-led approach to their work.
* You possess a proven ability in strategic thinking and planning.
* You are an excellent relationship builder.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Any Salesforce CRM or B2B experience would be a bonus!
* And of course – a driving licence is essential!
