Your new company
Hays are working with a key housing and care organisation, who run a number of services across the UK, and are looking for workers to join our pool of candidates. Currently, the client is looking for workers who would be available to pick up ad hoc shift cover at a couple of services in the Saffron Walden area.
Your new role
These services are for people with learning disabilities, and the main role would be to support the day-to-day needs of the service users, to allow them to live with some semblance of independence and dignity.
What you'll need to succeed
You need to have at least 6 months of UK-based experience in a social care or housing setting, ideally within an adult supported living service. You will also need to have or be willing to complete all mandatory care training courses.Ideally, you will have access to a car to attend shifts, especially as some shifts can be called in at short notice, and due to the location, it is not always easy to reach by public transport.
What you'll get in return
The flexible roles allow you to pick up the shifts that you want, meaning you can schedule around other personal or professional commitments.
First sight of other Hays roles that may become available in the future.
Access to our online training platform, to complete mandatory training and also access our vast library of online courses for your personal growth and development.
