Overview
Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is passionate about promoting good mental health and wellbeing. The Specialist Perinatal Mental Health team supports new mums and mums-to-be experiencing severe to moderate mental health illness during the perinatal period. The service is expanding to deliver a high-quality mental health response to women in the perinatal period and their partners. The Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service gained accreditation in January 2024.

The team provides a holistic and bespoke approach to every family on the caseload. The service operates county-wide with a locality-based model to minimise travel time. The successful candidate will predominantly work in the East of Cornwall but will be required to come to the base at Truro Health Park during induction and for duty days, meetings, and training as required.
