Post: Reception Teacher and Deputy Manager of EYFS at The King’s School, Witney, Oxfordshire. An independent Christian school (3-16) run by Oxfordshire Community Churches.
Salary: FTE £32,177 to £34,944 Pro Rata £24,133 – £26,208 dependent on qualifications, skills and experience.

The King’s School has operated for over 40 years providing high quality Early Years, Primary and Secondary education. Currently the role is 217 pupils.
We are seeking a warm, committed and skilled Reception Teacher to join our all‑throughChristian school, with the added responsibility of Deputy Manager of EYFS to work 30 Hours per week (over 4 days). This combined teaching and leadership role supports the Head of EYFS and Primary in the day‑to‑day leadership of Early Years provision, while delivering high‑quality teaching in Reception. The successful candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, committed to nurturing the whole child, and eager to support and model the Christian ethos of the school.

We are looking for someone who
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has experience in EYFS, ideally Reception
* Is willing to support and live out the Christian values of the school
* Has the confidence to take on delegated leadership responsibility
* Is committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice
The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a strong staff team in line with the vision of Oxfordshire Community Churches. It is therefore a genuine and determining occupational requirement that the post-holder must be a committed Christian, willing to work with others in the context of OCC’s ethos statement.
