If so, we are recruiting for an Advanced Support Worker role in Tullibody?
In this service, you will be supporting a number of individuals with complex mental health concerns, learning disabilities and Autism who have recently transitioned to their own homes. For most of these individuals, this is their first experience of having their own home, so it's been a really exciting time for them!
Our Advanced Support Worker team provides mentorship to the team to help them to improve the lives of the people we support. This can involve providing training, supporting to review care plans and risk assessments, mentoring staff to develop their own skills and interests by developing their knowledge and care provision. The service has complex care so knowledge around support planning and helping people to achieve outcomes would be expected.
Prior experience of supporting individuals with complex mental health concerns or learning disabilities is highly desirable. Our ideal candidate would have a SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and strong experience in supporting individuals with mental health concerns and learning disabilities. If you do not have a qualification, you need suitable experience.
You will know how to connect with people and be passionate about supporting people to live independently. You will also be a brilliant mentor and share your skills and experiences with your colleagues.
We will develop your talents with a range of specialist training, including the opportunity to learn Positive Behaviour Support methods.
This is a full-time role (36 hour) and the successful applicant should have flexibility to work 12 hour shifts to includesome weekends, days and waking nights. 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am
