We are currently recruiting for a joiner to come aboard our estates/facilities team at GDMA Group. If you have experience working in domestic properties, commercial building and maybe even shop-fitting, this may be the opportunity for you. Salary: [Depending on skills and qualifications] Main duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: General joinery duties within a domestic setting Hanging doors, repairing architraves, assisting to fit kitchens. Carrying out repair and maintenance works to occupied properties. Working on large scale projects with high profile clients Undertaking 1st and 2nd fix in Carpentry/Joinery Working with the supply chain associated with responsive maintenance. Working with a multi-disciplined services delivery team (within the built environment) Effective liaison with staff/other stakeholders to give information/find information/resolve problems. The right candidate will have: At least three years in the built environment, across multi-trades Evidence of key competencies in Joinery NVQ level 2 minimum Evidence of delivering first class customer service in responsive maintenance Ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner when working under pressure. Attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication Organisation and ability to time-manage workload. The ability to develop and project a positive image of GDMA A driving licence is essential. Demonstrate excellent knowledge of best practice Health and Safety in the workplace. Experience of working in a social or domestic housing environment would be ideal. Experience of fire door conversion and/or working with fireproof materials would be considered as advantageous.
