We are looking for an organised and proactive Senior Management Accountant to become part of a busy and growing finance team. This is a great opportunity to take on a varied role with real impact across the wider business.
This role sits within a long-established and growing Mid-Ulster firm.
Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial information and supporting business decision‑making across departments.

Key responsibilities
* Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts, including analysis of financial performance
* Support the year‑end process and liaise with external auditors
* Manage accruals, prepayments, and intercompany or internal recharges
* Maintain and update the fixed asset register, including capital expenditure tracking
* Oversee bank reconciliations and finance agreements such as hire purchase
* Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory returns, including VAT (UK and ROI) and other compliance reporting
* Contribute to financial reporting requirements (e.g. surveys, trade returns) and support ongoing improvements to finance systems and processes
Requirements
* Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
* Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (e.g. CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and financial systems
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Solid understanding of financial processes and controls
