Location: Kingston upon Hull
Salary: Up to £45,000
A well-established and chartered accountants based in Hull is recruiting for an experienced Accounts Senior to join their finance team on a full time, permanent basis. Clear pathway of progression within the business As Accounts Senior, your key responsibilities would be:
Prepare and manage Year End Accounts aligned with current accounting standards.
Handle VAT submissions using a range of accounting platforms.
Prepare and file tax returns for both corporate entities and individual clients.
Conduct client meetings to review financial statements and discuss tax-related matters.
Monitor and ensure timely submission of Corporation Tax and Self-Assessment returns.
Work confidently across multiple accounting systems including Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
Provide guidance and support to junior team members when needed. Ideal Candidate Profile:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a UK practice accountancy
Proficient in Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero
Ideally ACCA or ACA qualified
