Supply Chain Officer

£32,000 – 40,000 per annum. 30‑35 days’ holiday (pro rata) – NEW RDC Opening Leeds. 10% in‑store discount. Full‑time 40‑hour contract. Enhanced family leave.

As a Supply Chain Officer at Lidl, you will manage stock and demand across the Inbound Goods, Promotional, and Availability & Freshness teams. Your role will ensure timely delivery of goods, accurate ordering, minimisation of waste, and optimisation of in‑store promotion performance.


What you’ll do

* Inbound Goods:
o Analyse and ensure availability of listed items.
o Proactively manage demand of listed items.
o Make frequent independent decisions regarding orders.
o Build strong, lasting relationships with suppliers.
o Maintain accurate, regularly updated ordering systems.
o Collaborate with stores to support key availability objectives.
* Promotional:
o Place orders to suppliers on time and manage deliveries to the RDC.
o Manage stakeholder relationships within the region and head office.
o Create and maintain promotional allocations for stores.
o Analyse and amend forecasts and data to identify trends.
o Monitor and optimise seasonal campaign performance.
o Create demand forecasts for promotional lines and seasonal campaigns.
* Availability & Freshness:
o Analyse and ensure availability of listed items.
o Prepare relevant employee training.
o Make frequent independent decisions regarding orders.
o Build strong, lasting relationships with suppliers.
o Maintain accurate, regularly updated ordering systems.
o Collaborate with stores to support key availability objectives.


What you’ll need

* Degree‑level education or equivalent relevant experience.
* Analytical mind and methodical approach with strong PC skills.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Google Workspace.
* Ability to identify trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Fluency in German is desirable but not essential.
