Tax Assurance & Risk Management Assistant Manager / Manager
Location: Lancashire, North West England, UK, PR3 5JJ
This dynamic client‑facing role requires excellent client relationship, communication and project management skills, and the ability to distil tax concepts into easily understood information for a wide variety of stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Actively manage a client portfolio and oversee project delivery.
* Report to senior managers, directors and partners.
* Coordinate teams to deliver exceptional client service.
* Support business development activities.
* Consider a range of taxes including corporate, indirect and employment taxes.
* Apply tax governance, processes and controls across the client base.
* Prepare quality tax advice and report writing.
Qualifications
* Experience in TA & RM work, including tax process, tax strategy, SAO, CCO and tax risk registers.
* Strong interest in tax governance and developing tax operations.
* Broad tax technical experience enabling knowledgeable discussion of a variety of tax issues.
* End‑to‑end project delivery experience.
* Excellent advice and report writing skills.
* Strong presentation skills with confidence in hosting workshops, training sessions and webinars, often to board level.
