Responsibilities
* Provide nurse-led care in line with professional standards, guiding Residents and their families through decisions and care options.
* Mentor and share knowledge with colleagues; provide support as a practice supervisor and assessor to students.
* Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication and model professional behaviours.
* Advocate for a person-centred approach to care for Residents and their families.
* Identify safeguarding concerns, understand the signs of abuse, harm or neglect, and escalate appropriately. Attend safeguarding training and undertake related development as required.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with at least 12 months’ experience in health or social care.
* Valid PIN and commitment to the standards of practice set by the NMC.
* Ability to mentor and supervise students; strong communication skills; professional behaviour.
* Passion for person-centred care and safeguarding responsibilities.
