Job Description: Job Title: Social Worker – Family Support & Intervention Team
Location : Conwy
Rate : £41.12 per hour
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting experienced Senior Social Workers to join a busy team at a Conwybased within the Child Protection team.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will manage a diverse caseload of children, covering Child Protection, Child in Need, and sometimes Children within Proceedings, with the level in proceedings being open for discussion. You will attend to Section 47 enquiries, complete Single Assessments, Risk Assessments, and Parenting Assessments. Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies, including the Police and Education Services, to meet the identified needs of children, young people, and their families will be essential. You will deliver a high-quality social work service to children and their families who are deemed to have unmet needs and/or are considered to be at risk of harm or significant harm. Social workers are expected to provide support and develop resilience and independence, ensuring that children and their families are at the centre of decision-making about their lives and the outcomes they want to achieve, without compromising the child’s safety.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience.
