Overview
Reporting to the Head of Capital Estates, you will lead the delivery and coordination of a portfolio of complex capital and estates programmes. The role will ensure programmes are well planned, effectively governed and delivered to time, cost and quality, aligned to Trust priorities and wider system requirements.
Key Programmes
* major capital developments and refurbishment schemes
* estates backlog maintenance and compliance programmes
* service reconfiguration and decant projects linked to clinical and operational change
* estates efficiency, sustainability and infrastructure improvement initiatives
Responsibilities
* End‑to‑end programme planning, delivery and performance oversight.
* Work within agreed governance frameworks, collaborating with clinical, operational, finance and corporate colleagues to manage interdependencies, resolve issues and maintain momentum across multiple workstreams.
* Lead programmes and project staff within a matrix environment, ensuring resources are coordinated effectively, priorities are clear, and delivery remains focused on agreed outcomes.
* Maintain assurance and control, balancing competing priorities while delivering on time, cost and quality targets.
Qualifications and Experience
This is a senior role requiring sound judgement, confidence to work at pace in a complex environment, and the ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining assurance and control.
