As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will support the design development of decommissioning strategies, providing technical mechanical engineering expertise across the full asset life cycle and develop solutions for turnkey projects. There may be an opportunity to do secondments with other disciplines that you are interested in too. As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer at Orano Limited, some of the specialist tasks you could be involved producing are: 3D modelling Develop concept design ideas into viable solutions 2D detail design drawings – to BS8888 Collaborative working with other disciplines/Clients Mechanical Handling/Flow diagrams Production of engineering specifications and documentation Site visits (project dependent international travel) Mechanical engineering calculations Working closely with Mechanical Engineers Working with/to engineering (British and international) design standards and codes IMechE support and mentoring Close working relationships with other Orano sites and client sites may be required, which necessitates regular travel to those sites (dependent upon project & client requirements).
