Role Overview:

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Design, implement and support enterprise network infrastructure across LAN and WAN environments
* Configure and manage routing protocols including OSPF and BGP
* Build and maintain secure network solutions, including VPNs and firewall configurations
* Translate high-level designs into detailed configurations and deployment plans
* Support and optimise network performance across production environments
* Troubleshoot complex network issues across multiple layers and technologies
* Contribute to lab environments, testing and proof-of-concept work for new technologies
* Work closely with engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable and resilient solutions
* Support continuous improvement of network architecture and operational processes
Main Skills Needed:
* Strong experience in network engineering across both LAN and WAN environments
* Solid understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and network architecture
* Experience with VPN technologies and network security infrastructure (e.g. firewalls)
* Ability to work from both high-level and low-level technical designs
* Hands-on troubleshooting skills in complex network environments
* Familiarity with data centre networking concepts (e.g. spine/leaf, EVPN) is beneficial
* Exposure to automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform is advantageous
* Experience with virtualised networking or NSX is a plus
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in collaborative teams
