We have a vacancy based at Coalville Community Hospital within our Estates and Facilities Directorate.

* 15.7 Hour Vacancy, 5-week rota with shifts to be worked between 7.15am and 2pm, including 1 weekend out of 5.

As a Facilities Assistant, you will provide an effective, patient-focused Facilities Service (FM) in the delivery of cleaning, portering, and catering.

Job Description Summary (Main Duties And Responsibilities)

Facilities Assistant Duties

* Duties will include the preparation and regeneration of patient meals at ward level on a daily basis.
* Providing an effective, patient-focused cleaning and domestic service, to meet NHS cleanliness standards within designated areas.
* The postholder will also be responsible for portering services, including transportation of linen cages, waste bins/carts, and patient moves within the hospital environment.

This role will require the individual to rotate between responsibilities as needed.
