Constructive Moves are recruiting for a Technical Coordinator for a leading housing developer to join their Technical department which comprises of architectural and engineering backgrounds to manage housing and apartment schemes across the East Anglia region. The residential developer are in a period of growth and therefore looking for technical professionals to join the team as the department requires candidates with residential house building experience and the ability to manage their own schemes. The business unit has several new schemes starting this year and more moving into 2026. Expectations of the role will include: Co-ordinating external design consultants, obtaining building control approvals, discharging planning conditions, ensuring mains services are procured, providing Construction Issue drawings for site starts and support site operations. Obtaining Technical Drawings and approvals to enable efficient site starts. Manage external consultants in the preparation and issue of production information to an agreed programme, fee and scope. Assist in the preparation of Design Programmes with an ability to present at team meetings. Ensure all statutory enquiries, sewer connections and other relevant legal agreements are submitted and pursued for timely completion. Oversee the NHBC/Building Regulations applications to approval. Ensure that working drawings are in accordance with the approved Planning Scheme and ensure discharge of planning and building control conditions. Attend site progress meetings and carry out site inspection. Attend Subcontractor interviews and meetings. Respond to site queries and resolve Technical/Construction problems. Issuing drawings and information for construction purposes. Qualifications and Skills for the role: Qualified as a Civil/ Building Engineer or at a Construction related degree level or have attained HNC/HND in a built environment subject with relevant experience Good technical knowledge of the construction of both houses and apartments Working knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC, Party Wall Awards and associated legislation connected with the construction industry. Recognise problems and deal with them accordingly Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. High attention to detail. Competent IT skills including AutoCAD/Revit.
