Your new role
As a Bookkeeper, you'll support clients across bookkeeping, VAT and general accounting tasks, with a particular focus on sole traders (alongside some partnerships and limited companies). Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts
* Inputting data accurately into Xero
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns
* Identifying and recording inconsistencies to support accountants with reconciliations
* Providing occasional support to Client Managers during year-end accounts preparation
Full training will be provided where needed, particularly on Xero.
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience bookkeeping for sole traders (partnerships and limited companies beneficial but not essential)
* Good working knowledge of Xero preferred; SAGE experience useful
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Professional, personable approach for this client-facing role
* Ability to work comfortably from the office and commute reliably
