Thesuccessful candidate will manage the design process for various infrastructure projects (predominantly drainage) and private sector development schemes. You’ll be assisting in the design and planning of civil projects, preparing reports, and conducting site inspections, while collaborating with the project team to ensure technical and regulatory compliance. Produce Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Statements, and Transportation Assist in the production of Drainage/Highway designs and provide support for all types and scales of development projects. Assist in securing S278/S38 (Highways Act) and S104/S106 (Water Act) technical approvals. Produce drawings associated with work and manage CAD and technician resources to deliver outputs to agreed deadlines. What you need to succeed HND/C or a degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent related qualification. Minimum of 3 years’ experience post-graduation. Experience with Drainage and Highways Sectional Agreements. Proficiency in preparing highway designs and specifications. Detailed drainage and SuDs design using WINDES. Competent use of ACAD and Civil 3D. Familiarity with DMRB Manual for Streets, British Standards, and Sewers for Adoption. Competent in using Microsoft Office programs. Exceptional attention to detail and strong presentation skills.
