We are looking for a Segment BEX Manager to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Trays segment. As the segment expert, this role will work closely with sites to implement Group Strategic Initiatives, mentor teams, and ensure progress and effectiveness in operational excellence efforts. The Segment BEX Manager will train and guide teams in the use of LEAN & Six Sigma methodologies to successfully achieve yearly targets and promote the sharing of best practices.
This is ahybrid role, and we are ideally looking for someone to be based near one of our Trays sites, more specifically inGermany, UK, Poland, Italy, and Spain.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive implementation of strategic operational excellence initiatives within the segment.
Identify and drive improvement opportunities with local teams to support yearly objectives.
Define yearly improvement plans in line with segment objectives, identify training needs, and deliver trainings.
Conduct pilots, Kaizen workshops, ensure data quality, mentor Six Sigma & Lean projects, follow up on progress, and support complex data analysis.
Deliver the yearly savings targets, approximately 2% of production costs.
Implement an aligned operational excellence approach in close cooperation with Group Business Excellence Standards Framework (Trainings, Project Management, Actions Follow-up, Audits).
Drive the development of segment teams through ongoing training and sharing of best practices.
Skills and Experience Required:
Strong hands-on knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
Understanding of project selection and implementation to meet business objectives.
Previous experience with manufacturing production processes (ideally packaging) and project management in multi-cultural, multi-location, and cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving and mentoring abilities.
Hands-on knowledge of statistical analysis tools and MS Office programs.
Strong interpersonal skills, resilience, and persuasiveness.
Analytical and self-disciplined, with strong multi-tasking abilities.
Ability to train others.
Fluent in English (another European language is a plus).
